Strawberries U-Pick info

StrawberriesOhio-grown strawberries are vine-ripened and have a short shelf life. They keep best when picked with stems on. Wash and stem just prior to use.

Season

Starts 3 weeks after full bloom. May last til July, but most abundant picking mid-season. Please call for current field conditions and hours.

Berries are priced by volume. Bring an 8 qt basket, or baskets are available in the field for 75c. Berries must be in basket to leave the field. Baskets are non-refundable, but may be used on another visit.

Yield

1 qt = 1.5 lbs of berries
8 qts = 12 lbs
1 qt = 1 pie
2 qts = 1 batch of jam
